In my active blog, Just A Tad, I talked about finding some treasures when I was cleaning my studio. The one I didn't scan was this little sketch Mike Mignola did while we talked about a giant bat god stalking the ruins of a Mayan Temple. It turned into a great sequence in Sword of Storms.
Anyway, here's the scan, and if you haven't visited already, check out my other blog which mostly talks about animation but there's other stuff too.
Timely posting of that sketch, and it's good to see that you're still updating this blog.
Anyway, I'd like you and your studio to know that you do some good work - like, *really* good, and it's a bit of a gut punch that we won't be seeing anymore. I just saw both of them on the Netflix this weekend and was very surprised, given the usual standard applied to straight-to-home projects from other studios. There ought to be at least one more.
Especially considering the ending of "Blood and Iron", which only contributes to my ongoing irritation with teasers.

We teased in good faith. Maybe someday the script will find a new home.
